Visual acuity testing is the most important eye test in adults and children. For amblyopia, visual acuity is used to screen, diagnose and define the disease. Optotypes are objects in a visual acuity test the subject must try to identify. A good set of optotypes- each option has an equal chance of being guessed at threshold. The ABCD SYM+ uses 4-way symmetric objects fitting in equal sized circles with adjusted width so each has the same density of black and white. | |||||
